Controversial New Book About Alex Rodriguez

Sports Illustrated Senior Writer Selena Roberts has just published a controversial book about New York Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez entitled, A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez.

Fans of Alex Rodriguez will not be happy, and the A-Rod “haters” will have more fuel to add to their fire. Among other allegations, Roberts accuses Alex Rodriguez of having taken steroids in high school, as well as during his time with the Yankees - both allegations that have yet to be proven as true.

There has been harsh criticism about this book from New York Yankee manager Joe Girardi, among others. Roberts makes some outrageous claims, for example, saying that Alex tipped pitches to opponents during blow-outs while playing on the Texas Rangers. A-Rod’s teammates have come to his defense saying that this never happened.
